When factoring in ITVX figures, the episode achieved a combined peak audience of 2.1 million and an average of 1.7 million across all devices. This remarkable comeback follows a decline in ratings, notably during the lackluster winter 2023 series, which debuted with 1.4 million viewers.
The All Stars launch signifies a significant increase compared to the summer 2023 series, watched by 1.3 million viewers, and a million less than the summer 2022 launch, which drew in 2.4 million viewers.
This resurgence is a positive turn for Love Island, considering its peak in 2019 with a record-breaking 3.3 million viewers during the summer launch, making it the most-watched series to date.
The All Stars premiere, filled with unexpected twists, featured contestants coupled up by public vote. Former Love Island couple Callum Jones and Molly Smith added to the drama with a shocking reunion as bombshells entering the villa.
